Role Overview:
As the Director of FP&A, you will spearhead the budgeting, monitoring, analysis, and forecasting processes to enhance our overall financial performance. Your expertise will be crucial in consolidating financial results and delivering strategic insights to senior leadership regarding our financial trajectory. A strong background in corporate FP&A, leadership experience, and the ability to convey complex financial analyses to executive teams are essential.
This role reports to the Senior Director of Insurance Financial Management.
Work Environment:
This position is based in our New York City office and follows a hybrid model, requiring three days in-office each week. Thursdays are designated for team meetings and events, while the other two days are flexible.
Compensation Transparency:
The base salary for this position ranges from $180,504 to $236,911 annually. In addition, you will be eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the consolidated budgeting and re-forecasting process, ensuring comprehensive understanding of the operating plan and financial targets, while providing strategic insights to executive leadership.
- Advanced Management Reporting: Oversee the production and analysis of detailed management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, delivering high-level trend analysis and variance reporting for leadership and investor relations.
- Cost Allocation Framework Management: Drive the development of cost allocation management frameworks that align with the organizational operating model.
- Finance Systems & Processes Improvement: Lead enhancements in internal finance processes, ensuring data integrity and the development of detailed reporting capabilities.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Manage the FP&A team, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
