Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of Global Payroll to spearhead and expand our payroll operations both in the U.S. and internationally. This pivotal leadership position within the Accounting organization is essential to guarantee precise, compliant, and efficient payroll management for a sizable and diverse workforce across various compensation frameworks and jurisdictions.
You will oversee payroll operations for about 1,600 employees in the U.S. and Canada, including a notable number of hourly workers receiving commissions, overtime, and other variable compensation. Additionally, you will manage payroll processes in France, the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands through external partners.
In addition to prioritizing operational excellence, this role is instrumental in supporting the monthly closing processes and upholding robust payroll controls within a public company framework. You will collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, HR Benefits, and HRIS while leading a payroll team dedicated to providing precise and timely payroll services at scale.
We are looking for an individual with profound payroll expertise and strong operational leadership skills. You should be adept at navigating complex payroll systems, managing a team, and serving as Angi’s trusted resource for all payroll-related inquiries.
While this role is remote, we are a global organization and prefer applicants located in Eastern or Central time zones to align with our team’s working hours.
