As the Director of Global Sales for the Americas, you will take charge as the regional leader, directly reporting to the VP of Sales. Located in the vibrant New York City, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the implementation of Orient Express’s global sales strategy within the Americas. You will serve as the main point of contact for our strategic accounts while driving commercial growth across our prestigious offerings, including Sailing Yachts, Hotels, and Trains.
In collaboration with the Accor Global Sales Luxury & Lifestyle team, you will craft and execute targeted sales and B2B marketing strategies to enhance performance and elevate brand visibility. This position demands daily partnership with the sales teams of Orient Express Sailing Yachts and Orient Express Italy Trains & Hotels to ensure a seamless integration of all regional market activities and total alignment with the Global Sales organization.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Market Development
- Lead strategic account management and key partnerships in the Americas, ensuring alignment with the Orient Express global sales strategy.
- Collaborate with the Accor Global Sales team to customize and implement impactful initiatives across Sailing Yachts, Hotels, and Trains.
- Identify strategic opportunities and enhance revenue growth by maximizing cross-selling across all verticals.
- Develop innovative strategies to attract and convert ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) by leveraging established networks for immediate impact.
- Represent Orient Express at industry events, trade shows, and exclusive client engagements.
- Provide timely insights to the VP Global Sales regarding regional market trends, account performance, and emerging opportunities.
Collaboration & Alignment
- Act as the liaison for the Americas, ensuring complete alignment between regional market activities and the Orient Express global sales strategy.
- Work closely with the Accor Global Sales team to coordinate joint initiatives, leverage global client networks, provide regular updates on regional performance and opportunities, and share Orient Express news.
- Partner directly with the asset teams (Orient Express Sailing Yachts, Orient Express Italy Trains & Hotels) to execute market-specific sales plans and support account development in the Americas.
- Serve as the voice of the Americas within the Orient Express organization, conveying market insights, client feedback, and opportunities to inform strategy.
B2B Marketing & Strategic Partnerships
- Collaborate with the global sales and Orient Express marketing teams to align regional B2B marketing efforts with overarching global campaigns and key sponsorships.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships across the Americas to enhance brand positioning and generate new revenue opportunities.
