ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Director of Internal Quality, you will oversee production quality and manufacturing engineering. In your role focused on production quality, you will ensure that every smartgun exiting our Final Assembly Test and Packout (FATP) facility meets Biofire’s rigorous performance criteria. You will also verify that purchased components and in-house subassemblies adhere to these standards, lead root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to enhance yield and production efficiency. In your manufacturing engineering capacity, you will spearhead initiatives to expand our in-house manufacturing capabilities while continuously refining processes to accommodate design modifications and new product introductions (NPI). You will be responsible for developing and validating manufacturing processes and adapting line layouts to support increasing production demands.
