As the Director of Learning & Development, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing comprehensive training strategies at Fairmont Grand Del Mar. Collaborating closely with the People & Culture team and various Department Heads, your focus will be on assessing, designing, and delivering impactful training programs that foster engagement among colleagues and leaders alike. While a fundamental proficiency in computer skills is essential, strong communication, motivational, and presentation abilities will be crucial for your success in this position.
Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will oversee all hotel and corporate training initiatives by establishing effective communication and nurturing positive relationships with all team members. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and assessing new training programs to enhance operational efficiency and elevate guest satisfaction.
- Planning, coordinating, and delivering corporate training sessions in alignment with Accor's standards, covering topics such as creating a harassment-free workplace, embracing diversity, effective communication, leadership, and tailored departmental training.
- Conducting regular meetings with Department Heads, trainers, and employees to analyze performance trends, develop action plans, and acknowledge achievements.
- Facilitating and supporting Fairmont Learning Programs with a focus on New Hire Orientation, Heartist Journey, Service Culture, and Luxury Service Standards.
