Position Overview:
Are you a dynamic leader in medical science? Celcuity is on the lookout for a Director of Medical Science Liaison (MSL) who will report directly to the Senior Director of Eastern US Field Medical. This pivotal role entails fostering scientific discussions with healthcare providers and critical decision-makers, including managed care organizations and formulary committees, regarding Celcuity's innovative products and relevant disease states while supporting clinical trials.
As an MSL, you will blend business acumen with in-depth disease knowledge and clinical expertise, serving as a vital link between Celcuity's scientific data and external stakeholders. You will also offer valuable market and clinical insights to our internal teams. Expect to travel within your designated territory and attend medical conferences across the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and nurture professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in specified tumor types.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including commercial and clinical development associates.
- Enhance partnerships with KOLs to create new research, advisory, and educational opportunities.
- Assist the Clinical Development Team in identifying and educating potential clinical trial sites and troubleshoot issues during clinical trial execution.
- Develop expertise in Celcuity's product line, related disease states, and clinical practices within your therapeutic area.
- Communicate complex scientific information about Celcuity's products and disease states effectively, both in written and verbal formats.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, SOPs, and guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Provide scientific training to internal team members.
- Participate in the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review processes as a scientific expert.
- Identify, categorize, and relay key clinical insights related to assigned disease states and products.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
