About the Role
Crusoe is pioneering the development of the most advanced, energy-efficient AI cloud globally. As we expand our reach with new data centers, fiber routes, and network infrastructure across various regions, we are seeking a Director of OSP/ISP Construction to spearhead all outside-plant and inside-plant network construction efforts.
In this pivotal role, you will manage large-scale telecommunications projects, fiber deployments, and the network infrastructure supporting Crusoe's AI-optimized computing platform. Your responsibilities will encompass strategy, design, permitting, construction, and final turnover across multiple greenfield and brownfield sites.
You will work closely with Engineering, Network, Data Center, and Field Operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure as Crusoe expands its footprint across the United States.
What You’ll Work On
Construction Strategy & Leadership
Develop and implement the OSP/ISP construction strategy that supports Crusoe’s AI data center expansion.
Lead cross-functional teams in engineering, construction, IT, and field operations.
Set project priorities, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
Enhance quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
Align construction initiatives with broader infrastructure and capacity objectives.
Project & Construction Management
Oversee the entire lifecycle of OSP/ISP projects—from design and permitting to construction and final acceptance.
Manage various fiber deployment types, including aerial, underground, and in-building installations across new and existing sites.
Collaborate closely with network engineering, GIS, and data center teams to ensure precision in designs and documentation.
Guarantee compliance with local, state, and federal construction codes and environmental regulations.
Monitor project milestones, mitigating risks and addressing challenges as they arise.
