Directive is seeking a dynamic Director of Paid Media who excels in both managing teams and nurturing client relationships. In this pivotal role, you will guide a team of Associate Directors, ensure the success of our paid media accounts, and be the trusted advisor to our clients in high-pressure situations. Our paid media team consists of top-tier performance marketing experts, managing sophisticated campaigns for prestigious B2B brands. Our professionals are seasoned, client-focused, and thoroughly versed in Directive's DiscoverabilityOS methodology. As the Director of Paid Media, you will establish accountability, structure, and systems within Directive’s largest division to ensure seamless operations and consistent client leadership. This position reports directly to the VP of Paid Media.
What You'll Do
Team Management:
Develop and mentor a team of Associate Directors, establishing clear direction, aligning on priorities, and fostering an environment where high-caliber professionals excel.
Translate executive strategy into actionable weekly priorities, eliminating any ambiguity between strategy and execution.
Cultivate a culture of accountability and excellence as the standard, not just a goal.
Support the growth of your Associate Directors and identify future leaders among the strategist team.
Account Health:
Maintain close oversight of every account to identify and address issues proactively before clients notice. We leverage proprietary sentiment analysis technology built into our platform, Stratos.
Promote a culture of early escalation and proactive communication throughout your team.
Ensure all client interactions reflect Directive's methodologies, including LTV:CAC modeling, DiscoverabilityOS strategy, Share of SERP, and Functional Content.
Deliverable Quality:
Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet or exceed client expectations, consistently reflecting our commitment to excellence.
