As the Director of Patient & Provider Marketing – Dermatology at AbbVie, you will spearhead the strategic planning, development, and execution of innovative marketing initiatives tailored for both patients and healthcare providers (HCPs) within AbbVie Patient Services’ Dermatology franchise. This leadership role involves guiding a team in the creation of impactful value propositions, brand positioning, and comprehensive go-to-market strategies aimed at enhancing the experiences of patients and providers while promoting access and adherence aligned with our business objectives.
Your position will be pivotal in fostering collaboration across various departments to ensure effective strategy execution in patient and provider marketing for Dermatology. You will work closely with brand teams and internal partners in Patient Services, including the Digital Lab, Co-pay Center of Excellence, Patient Engagement, finance, medical and regulatory review, market research, business analytics, and Patient Services Training. Externally, you will engage with agencies and consultants to implement robust marketing strategies that resonate with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute the overarching vision, strategy, and annual marketing plans for patient and provider initiatives within the Dermatology franchise.
- Lead the creation of integrated marketing campaigns and educational programs targeting both patient and provider/HCP audiences, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and patient service experience goals.
- Oversee the design of comprehensive patient journeys and Patient Services programs that promote treatment adherence and enhance patient outcomes in Dermatology.
- Facilitate collaboration with Access & Reimbursement teams, Digital Lab, Co-pay Center of Excellence, Patient Engagement, and other functions to ensure compliant, innovative campaigns.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and consultants to deliver high-quality marketing assets.
- Work with Marketing Business Insights & Analytics (APEX) to define KPIs, monitor campaign effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
- Administer financial management of marketing budgets and resource allocation to uphold fiscal responsibility.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to direct reports, nurturing a culture of growth, innovation, and accountability.
- Engage with stakeholders from both internal and external partners to ensure comprehensive support and flawless execution of marketing strategies.
