Your Responsibilities
We are seeking a Director of People & Culture to take on a pivotal role within our organization. This is a high-responsibility, high-impact role as the sole member of the People team, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding. You will manage payroll, benefits, compliance, employee relations, talent acquisition, and cultural initiatives, empowering managers to lead effectively while ensuring our People function adapts to our company's growth.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (40%)
Drive and assist hiring efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and the offer process.
Establish best practices and scalable procedures to enhance hiring efficiency.
Train and support hiring managers in interviewing techniques, candidate assessment, and the company's hiring procedures.
Administer ATS systems to ensure a structured and equitable hiring process.
People Operations & Compliance (20%)
Manage all HR policies, documentation, and compliance across Canada and the U.S.
Keep the employee handbook updated, create new company policies, and ensure legal compliance.
