Your Role
We are seeking a visionary and systems-oriented Director of People to architect and expand our people programs that foster enduring high performance within Maybern. This role transcends traditional HR responsibilities; you will set the standard for excellence, align our people strategies with business objectives, and develop initiatives that empower our teams and leaders to excel as we scale.
In this capacity, you will work closely with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and other leaders, serving as a strategic partner in matters of performance, leadership, and organizational well-being. The ideal candidate is adept at operating at both strategic and tactical levels, establishing direction, creating frameworks, and ensuring successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance and People Programs
- Establish the definition of high performance at Maybern and develop systems, expectations, and programs that reinforce this across all roles and teams.
- Create and refine performance management, feedback, and development frameworks that evolve with the organization.
- Design and implement training programs for managers, ensuring they are prepared to lead their teams effectively and consistently.
- Collaborate with leadership to create and disseminate communication strategies regarding performance, compensation, and promotion processes.
- Oversee Maybern's benefits and perks strategy, ensuring our offerings are competitive, inclusive, and reflective of our company culture.
