PREMION is in search of a seasoned Director of Political Ad Sales. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape strategy and achieve revenue targets through PREMION—an industry-leading and award-winning local streaming advertising service—specifically in the Political market. With the expected surge in ad-supported streaming during the 2026 election cycle, PREMION POLITICAL is perfectly positioned to capitalize on this significant growth.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and execution plan for the political sector in 2026, aiming to secure funding opportunities as early in the year as possible.
• Continuously refine PREMION's resource strategy for Political advertising.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with key senior-level and operational decision-makers at national political agencies, including National Media, Target Media, GMMB, PACs, and candidate groups.
• Lead agency-wide pitches to facilitate deals, pricing, and client development.
• Oversee responses to RFPs and new business proposals.
• Collaborate with our third-party sales team/consultancy to optimize results.
• Work closely with pre-sales, sales operations, marketing, account management teams, and sales channel partners.
• Partner with product and technology teams to enhance targeting, identify data enrichment opportunities, and define reporting and insights requirements.
• Engage with the Premion team to understand the requirements, opportunities, and challenges from political agencies, enabling Premion to maximize revenue and adapt products and processes accordingly.
• Network at key political events to establish relationships and maintain Premion's visibility as the premier local, streaming, premium solution.
• Communicate effectively with the Premion team and TEGNA's senior sales leadership.
