PRODUCT MANAGEMENT - FORTNITE CREATOR ECOSYSTEM
Our Mission
As a vital member of the Fortnite Creator Ecosystem team, the Product Management division collaborates closely with development, publishing, marketing, and platform teams to establish a product strategy driven by data and market intelligence. Our objective is to equip creators with the necessary tools, insights, and support to function as game publishers, facilitating the building, launching, growth, and monetization of successful games. This role focuses on two primary areas: fostering a dynamic creator publishing ecosystem and ensuring sustainable monetization for creators.
Your Role
As the Product Management Director, you will oversee a crucial segment of the Fortnite developer economy. You will be responsible for defining the strategy, guiding execution, and ensuring that our monetization systems are balanced, scalable, policy-compliant, and empowering for creators.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the strategy and roadmap for a segment of Fortnite’s developer economy, concentrating on direct monetization products that harmonize creator value with player trust and platform sustainability.
- Lead cross-functional development of monetization systems, collaborating closely with Programming and Design teams to translate strategy into scalable, dependable products.
- Engage with Policy, Legal, and Trust & Safety teams to ensure that monetization products are compliant, transparent, and aligned with Epic’s values and governance.
- Define and monitor key success metrics and economic health indicators, leveraging data, experimentation, and qualitative insights to guide prioritization and iterations.
- Oversee go-to-market strategies and change management for monetization capabilities, including internal enablement and external creator communication.
- Work alongside Analytics and Insights teams to assess ecosystem performance, test hypotheses, and pinpoint opportunities to enhance creator outcomes and platform efficiency.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably with a focus on gaming or creator platforms.
- Proven track record in developing and executing product strategies with measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of the gaming industry and creator economy.
