Director of Quality Engineering and Assurance
Reporting to: Senior Producer
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and continually enhance the strategic framework for project management, technology integration, and team structuring across multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching product and operational goals.
Team and Project Management: Lead and coordinate multiple product teams, supervise testing leads, devise testing strategies, and establish metrics to gauge the success of quality initiatives, ensuring project milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget.
Process Improvement: Establish and uphold exemplary testing methodologies while innovating to discover new approaches that yield the highest quality outcomes for both functional and non-functional testing.
Quality Tools and Automation: Oversee the design and deployment of test automation frameworks, automated reporting systems, build health notifications, and tools that bolster the efficiency and effectiveness of Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance divisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, production, and other departments to integrate QA processes and advocate for early-stage quality practices. Develop creative solutions in line with the TGC brand to enhance product quality and technological advancements.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary contact for all QA-related issues, regularly updating studio leadership, executive teams, and external partners and vendors.
Compliance and Certification: Oversee the submission and certification processes for console platforms (PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo) to guarantee adherence to their standards.
