The Director of Restaurants will take charge of all dining venues within a premier luxury hotel, ensuring unparalleled service and guest satisfaction while meeting financial objectives. This pivotal role requires leading a skilled team, enhancing the overall dining atmosphere, and ensuring that all restaurants align with the hotel’s brand values. The Director will significantly contribute to menu innovation, staff training, and the implementation of cutting-edge service techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including upscale casual dining, fine dining, and other food outlets, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor restaurant personnel, cultivating a culture of excellence and engagement; conduct performance assessments and implement professional growth plans.
- Financial Performance: Create and manage budgets for restaurant operations, evaluate financial metrics, and meet revenue targets while controlling expenses.
- Menu Development: Partner with the culinary team to craft menu offerings, specials, and promotions, reflecting guest preferences and seasonal trends.
- Guest Relations: Utilize customer feedback to continuously improve the dining experience; address guest inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards; supervise the proper handling of food and beverage products.
Success Metrics:
- Achieve a guest satisfaction score of 90% or higher in restaurant operations.
- Maintain food and labor costs within established budget guidelines.
- Achieve staff turnover rates below the industry average to create a stable workforce.
