Equativ is on the lookout for a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Retail Media Partnerships to be a part of our New York City team. This critical role is newly established within our Supply organization and will be instrumental in expanding our Commerce and Retail supply clientele throughout North America. The perfect candidate is a seasoned expert in Retail Media with extensive knowledge of the ecosystem, ready to utilize Equativ's distinctive and comprehensive range of retail media solutions to enhance adoption and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Sales & Growth: Formulate and implement a robust sales strategy aimed at acquiring and expanding new Retail/Commerce supply partnerships (including Retailers, Grocers, Commerce Platforms, and Sales Houses) in North America.
• Executive Partnership: Collaborate closely with the EVP of Supply and Curation to establish market positioning, gather product feedback, and define the commercial strategy for the region.
• Solution Selling: Clearly convey and sell Equativ's unique Retail Media value proposition, which encompasses:
• Onsite Ad Serving: Tailored for Sponsored Ads and other proprietary retail ad formats.
• Curation Platform: Facilitating Audience Extensions and offsite programmatic activation.
• Innovative Ad Formats: Promoting the adoption of our Shoppable Ad Formats.
• CRM Activations: Utilize retailer first-party data for targeted marketing campaigns.
• Market Leadership: Act as Equativ's subject matter expert in the North American Retail Media landscape, monitoring market trends, competitive actions, and regulatory shifts to refine strategy.
• Industry Presence: Actively represent Equativ at significant retail media and commerce industry events and conferences, cultivating relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
• Pipeline Management: Oversee a strong sales pipeline from initial outreach through contract negotiations and deal closure, ensuring precision in forecasting and reporting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Team up with Product, Marketing, Legal, and Operations teams to guarantee the successful onboarding and ongoing optimization for new and existing clients.
• Revenue Accountability: Be directly accountable for achieving and exceeding ambitious quarterly and annual sales targets for the Retail and Commerce supply division.
