Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned, proactive Director of Sales to spearhead Bankjoy’s go-to-market strategy and establish a scalable, data-driven sales framework. This pivotal role will oversee our Account Executive and Sales Engineer teams, collaborate closely with Marketing and Partnerships, and engage cross-functionally with Product and Implementation to ensure effective client acquisition and onboarding.
This is a player-coach position: you will be responsible for closing deals while also creating the structure, metrics, and team dynamics necessary for Bankjoy to achieve consistent revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and manage Bankjoy’s comprehensive sales process, encompassing pipeline management, qualification standards, forecasting, and closing methodologies.
- Craft a replicable, metrics-driven sales playbook that integrates seamlessly with Bankjoy’s marketing funnel and product roadmap.
- Collaborate with the CEO to identify and exploit strategic enterprise opportunities and fintech ecosystem partnerships.
- Work alongside the COO and Finance to establish annual ARR targets, quotas, and compensation frameworks based on unit economics and ROI.
Execution & Team Development
- Lead and mentor a focused team with an emphasis on skill enhancement, accountability, and performance excellence.
- Personally drive high-value deals to closure, especially with larger financial institutions and key strategic prospects.
- Develop a robust pipeline in collaboration with Marketing and Partnerships, ensuring effective conversion from MQL to SQL to closed-won opportunities.
- Maintain CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy, holding the team accountable to measurable KPIs.
