Our SMB Account Management team plays a crucial role in this journey, acting as strategic partners to merchants by digitizing inventory, optimizing storefronts, and unlocking new revenue channels. We also gather valuable insights to refine our products and market strategies.
As an integral part of DoorDash's ambitious growth plans, the New Verticals initiative is rapidly expanding, and we are seeking a leader to ensure our merchants evolve alongside us in this complex landscape.
About the Role
In the capacity of Director of SMB Account Management for New Verticals, you will spearhead our Implementation and Account Management teams, focusing on SMB and select Mid-Market merchants. Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping performance metrics and sales strategies, driving retention and growth while refining operational models for scalability.
This role involves navigating an evolving landscape where many systems and processes are still in development. You will bring clarity, structure, and accountability to our operations, ensuring that our unique marketplace offering delivers immense value to merchants. Your ability to thrive in ambiguity and translate evolving capabilities into merchant benefits will be key to our success.
Reporting to the Senior Director, you will play a vital role in steering our SMB strategy and making a lasting impact on our merchant partnerships.
