Position Overview:
PPRO is on the lookout for a seasoned commercial leader to step into the role of Director of Strategic Payment Partnerships. Reporting to the SVP of Global Payment Partnerships, this position is based in São Paulo and collaborates with teams across Brazil and Mexico. You will lead a team of five, tasked with forging new commercial relationships with payment methods while also nurturing existing partnerships. Your team will oversee all Acquiring and Local Payment Method (LPM) relationships in the region and establish connections with international networks such as Visa and Mastercard.
As a strategic problem-solver, you will leverage your comprehensive expertise in the cards and local payments markets in the region. Utilizing PPRO's reputation, volume, clientele, and investor relations, you will tackle challenges and build a distinctive payment network. Your responsibilities will encompass managing all payment partnerships in Latin America, driving commercial results, and coaching your team to deliver exceptional performance.
Collaboration is key as you will work closely with global teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales and Account Management, Legal, and Compliance, to devise and execute a proactive payment partnership strategy tailored for the region.
