About The Role:
As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will spearhead the talent strategy and execution for one of our core business units or engineering platform teams. Reporting to the Head of Divisional Talent Acquisition, you will be an integral member of the Division's Senior Leadership Team, serving as the primary talent advisor to the Division's executive leaders. Your role encompasses orchestrating the entire recruitment ecosystem within the Division, leading a team of Functional Managers and Business Line Strategic Advisors. Your objective is to unify diverse hiring requirements into a cohesive divisional talent strategy, drive operational excellence, and ensure the acquisition of top-tier talent to achieve our ambitious objectives. This high-impact leadership position demands a strategic vision, operational expertise, and strong executive partnership.
What You Will Do:
- Strategic Leadership for the Division/Platform:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for the Division or Platform team, aligning directly with business goals, headcount plans, and long-term product roadmaps, including building robust talent pipelines for software, hardware, and production engineering roles.
- Take full accountability for all divisional and platform hiring outcomes, overseeing forecasting, demand planning, delivery, and reporting, effectively treating the talent function as a business within the business.
- Act as the primary talent partner to the executive leadership of the Division/Platform, delivering data-driven insights, market intelligence, and strategic advice concerning all talent-related issues, particularly for specialized engineering and production talent.
- Integrate inputs from multiple Business Lines and Functions into a comprehensive talent portfolio and long-term strategy, ensuring coordinated planning and providing business leadership.
