Position Summary
The Director of Treatment and Recovery Services will lead, manage, and supervise GLIDE’s innovative Contingency Management (CM) Program and the MOUD (Medications for Opioid Use Disorder)/MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) Navigation Program, among other essential treatment services aimed at clients seeking support for substance use issues. The focus will be on populations identified as most at-risk.
The Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive referral coordination, triage, and assessment process that aligns care for clients with their specific substance use disorder (SUD) needs. GLIDE’s CM program employs evidence-based strategies that utilize incentives to promote positive behavioral changes regarding substance use, especially stimulants. This program includes three group sessions weekly, individual check-ins, and drop-in hours for clients, who are rewarded with financial incentives for achieving negative results on urine analyses (UAs) for stimulant use, as well as meeting other psychosocial goals identified collaboratively with GLIDE. The MOUD/MAT Navigation Treatment Program aids clients who wish to start or are currently engaged in medication-assisted treatment, offering case management to enhance health and life outcomes, along with counseling support to mitigate harmful behaviors. This role will ensure the effective implementation of these programs, oversee health education and outreach initiatives, and develop additional treatment options through expanded partnerships and resources.
