Your Role
As the Director/VP of Marketing, you will be the architect of AZX’s go-to-market strategy, leading a dynamic team to bring innovative marketing initiatives to fruition. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in driving pipeline generation, brand development, partnership cultivation, and overseeing the complete marketing function.
AZX specializes in delivering AI transformation strategies and implementations to mid-market and global enterprises within the utilities, energy, climate, and commercial real estate sectors. Our go-to-market approach is built on fostering relationships, emphasizing account-based marketing, and leveraging thought leadership and trusted networks rather than relying on high-volume outreach. You will refine our strategic playbook, manage the marketing team, and develop essential relationships with enterprise clients and technology partners.
This leadership opportunity is ideal for an individual who is analytical and intuitive, thrives in uncertain environments, and possesses the executive presence to represent AZX effectively to Fortune 500 clients and partners such as NVIDIA, Google, and Anthropic.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end development of the go-to-market strategy, encompassing campaigns, events, account-based marketing, content creation, partnerships, and pipeline generation, with a commitment to continuous improvement based on data-driven insights.
Build, manage, and nurture the go-to-market team, which currently includes roles for a GTM AI Engineer and a Community/Content Marketing Associate.
Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with key players in the industry, including NVIDIA, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, and Amazon.
Advocate for AZX’s brand narrative, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms and managing vendor relationships for brand development and refresh initiatives.
Oversee product and solution marketing efforts, guiding the creation of case studies as we celebrate client successes.
