Job Description:
- Collaborate with the Transport Planner to organize loading and offloading schedules efficiently.
- Receive and review loading slips (pick tickets) and coordinate with forklift operators to ensure items are organized as per dispatch documentation and schedules.
- Verify item codes and quantities against dispatch documents, ensuring accurate product selection with forklift operators.
- Supervise laborers during the loading process, ensuring items are properly arranged on trailers.
- Conduct final checks to confirm all quantities are loaded accurately and align with dispatch documentation.
- Ensure trailers are securely covered with appropriate tarpaulins for protection during transport.
- After loading, coordinate with the Transport Planner to provide loading slips for necessary shipping documentation.
- Guarantee that materials are selected, arranged, checked, loaded, and dispatched within the designated timeframes.
- Inspect incoming goods at the warehouse, ensuring they match receiving documents.
- Work closely with forklift operators to arrange incoming goods efficiently.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor regarding new products and maintain organized space for incoming items.
- Uphold high safety standards during loading and offloading operations.
- Assist in conducting cycle counts and annual inventory assessments effectively.
- Before loading, ensure trailers and containers are free from contamination, odors, and any structural issues to maintain product hygiene.
