The District Sales Executive (DSE) plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth aligned with the strategic objectives of Expeditors. This position requires a proactive mindset, a competitive spirit, and the ability to focus on achieving results amidst changing circumstances. The DSE is responsible for coordinating the efforts of various team members in our sales process to secure new customer revenue consistently.

Reporting directly to the District Sales Manager, the DSE will manage an assigned territory with a strong emphasis on understanding potential customers and competitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee an assigned territory, utilizing extensive knowledge of local customers and competitors.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management system.
- Foster relationships with customers and branches, collaborating with regional resources in Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management.
- Contribute to the development of tailored logistics solutions for customer needs, including providing supporting diagrams and cost-benefit analyses.
- Assist in transitioning new accounts by facilitating customer introductions, information transfers, and securing necessary documentation, including accounts receivable collection when required.
- Participate in training and development sessions to enhance selling skills and stay updated on Expeditors products and services.
- Engage with local trade groups as directed by the District Sales Manager.
- Accept additional assignments as needed to support company operations.
Physical Demands
This position requires the use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and fax/copy/scan machines, primarily performed while seated at a desk.
