This pivotal role involves advancing the D&I strategy, governance framework, and associated initiatives across eight countries in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, alongside managing various cyclical D&I programs and deliverables.
As the D&I champion and internal expert at SEEK, this position is dynamic and hands-on, requiring a proactive individual who is passionate about engaging with a diverse audience and collaborating with various stakeholders on key initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong ideation skills, critical thinking abilities, and a talent for effective execution to achieve desired outcomes. Success in this role necessitates exceptional influence, the ability to quickly build rapport to leverage internal networks, and outstanding planning and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement impactful programs to support the five pillars of the D&I strategy: shared responsibility, inclusion-oriented leadership development, continuous listening capabilities, and the integration of inclusion principles into policies, programs, and events.
- Oversee and manage all initiatives within the D&I portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional teams as appropriate, including the execution of the Women in Technology strategy and other key projects.
- Contribute to the intentional design of meaningful and inclusive employment experiences for SEEKers across all career stages, guided by ongoing listening and relevant insights.
- Provide support to existing Employee Advocacy Groups (EAGs) and explore the establishment of new groups to enhance organizational capabilities in inclusive leadership and continuous listening.
- Ensure SEEK meets its legal and regulatory obligations, including reporting to the SEEK Board and compliance with commitments made to stakeholders.
- Work closely with the APAC Director and HR Business Partnering to strategically select corporate sponsorships, events, and awards that reinforce SEEK’s reputation as a leader in wellness, diversity, and inclusion.
- Build an external network of professionals in the wellness and D&I sectors to identify best practices and learning opportunities.
