Your responsibilities will include accurately tracking every shipment on our live board and ensuring smooth communication between our dock and dispatch teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while upholding high standards of accuracy.
This dual-role position demands both office-based administrative tasks and active coordination on the dock. You should be comfortable in a bustling workspace and adept at meeting strict end-of-day inventory deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Management: Supervise daily office operations to facilitate an efficient administrative workflow.
- Shipment Processing: Receive and process all incoming and outgoing shipments, updating status changes in real-time on our tracking board.
- Documentation: Prepare, verify, and organize all shipping and receiving documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Inventory Control: Conduct detailed and precise physical inventory counts at the end of each business day.
- Team Liaison: Serve as the primary communication link between the dock floor and the dispatch team to ensure timely shipments.
- Digital Organization: Utilize Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, and Gmail) to manage data, create reports, and correspond with stakeholders.
