We are seeking a dedicated Account Manager to join our Retail/Ecommerce team based in Amsterdam. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our portfolio of high-value retail clients at Lightspeed.
As a trusted advisor, your focus will be on understanding your clients’ objectives and challenges. You will work collaboratively to deliver ongoing value throughout their journey, fostering strong, long-lasting relationships built on trust and mutual appreciation. Your ultimate aim is to empower our Retail/Ecommerce customers to reach their goals, ensuring fruitful partnerships and sustained growth.
Please note: This position is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and requires fluency in Dutch due to a portfolio of Dutch customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Nurturing strong relationships with existing clients and ensuring their continual success.
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Planning and executing Quarterly Business Reviews and Success Plans.
- Monitoring customer usage metrics and translating insights into retention and growth strategies.
- Advocating for industry and customer needs within Lightspeed to drive timely innovations.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with teams, including implementation, support, and product, to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and resolve any issues.
- Developing and driving strategies tailored for each customer in your portfolio.
- Providing feedback from customers to relevant teams to enhance the customer journey and address any product gaps.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a results-oriented candidate with the following qualifications:
- Fluency in Dutch and English (Dutch proficiency is essential for success in this role).
- Experience in customer success, account management, sales development, or business development.
- A strong grasp of solution-based consultative sales practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.
