We are currently seeking a:
Duty Manager
27-36 hours per week (3 or 4 days of 9 hours)
As a Duty Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the staff in the ticketing, shop, visitor assistance, and food service areas. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure everything runs smoothly at NEMO, providing visitors with a pleasant and safe experience. You will handle any issues that arise and report daily experiences to department heads.
Working alongside your colleagues, you will maintain a high service level and create a clean, safe, and child-friendly environment within NEMO Science Museum.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the opening and closing of the facility while ensuring a seamless daily operation.
Oversee the daily schedule and guide the team of staff members.
Enhance the visitor experience by being the main point of contact for guests.
Resolve unexpected incidents and take charge during emergencies.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and implement necessary measures.
Conduct responsible financial closing of all cash registers.
Identify bottlenecks and propose structural improvements.
