About the job
Join Farel as a Recruiter in a fully remote role!
Farel is a pioneering US-based startup that is revolutionizing the airline industry with an advanced operating system designed to consolidate inventory, dynamic pricing, reservations, operations, and customer-facing applications into a single robust platform, effectively replacing outdated PSS software. Supported by esteemed Silicon Valley venture capitalists and Y Combinator, we empower airlines to launch within weeks. Our rapidly expanding global team is spread across the US, Europe, and Central Asia.
We are on the lookout for a proactive Recruiter who excels under pressure, rapidly fills positions, and utilizes data-driven insights. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the CEO and COO to define hiring strategies, prioritize recruitment needs, and ensure that Farel attracts top talent at the optimal times.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: Source, screen, interview, and successfully onboard candidates for both technical (engineering, product) and non-technical (sales, operations) positions.
- Develop and oversee the hiring pipeline: Establish SLAs for each stage of hiring, monitor time-to-hire, assess sourcing effectiveness, and track conversion metrics. Provide actionable insights and suggest improvements when necessary.
- Proactively source candidates: Utilize LinkedIn, industry-specific communities, referrals, and niche channels to identify potential candidates instead of waiting for inbound applications.
- Enhance recruitment processes: Refine interview frameworks, scoring systems, ATS configurations, and offer templates. Document successful strategies and eliminate ineffective methods.
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience: Every candidate, regardless of the outcome, should receive constructive feedback from Farel.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in a fast-paced startup, scale-up, or high-volume in-house team.
- Demonstrated success in hiring both technical and non-technical roles, ideally within the same organization.
- Data-oriented: proficient in tracking key metrics, identifying recruitment bottlenecks, and implementing strategies to enhance both speed and quality of hires.
- Experience collaborating with C-level executives (CEO, COO).
- Self-directed and focused: capable of managing multiple roles (5+) simultaneously while meeting deadlines without requiring daily supervision.
- Fluent in English for interviews, written communication, and asynchronous collaboration with a diverse global team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with recruitment technology and tools.
- Knowledge of the airline or travel industry.
