About the job
This role is a contracted position through Bosch’s external vendor, lasting for one year.
The EDS department specializes in developing software tools to enhance embedded products within the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) sector. Our tools facilitate efficient software and system development for cutting-edge technologies, including radar, video, and ultrasonic sensors. We serve global teams across Japan, China, Europe, and Vietnam, playing a crucial role in advancing secure, safe, and intelligent mobility solutions.
We are in search of a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team, ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. This hands-on role demands exceptional problem-solving skills, extensive coding expertise, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate production issues. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating hybrid environments and possess substantial experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure & Hybrid Cloud: Design and implement immutable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Bash scripting to enable deterministic resource allocation. Oversee the complex interactions between legacy localized hardware and Azure services to guarantee seamless data persistence and optimize network latency.
- Orchestration & Containers: Manage Kubernetes-based orchestration, applying advanced performance tuning and incident response strategies to maintain modular, highly available microservices.
- CI/CD & Pipeline Optimization: Lead the enhancement of automated delivery lifecycles utilizing GitHub Actions and Azure. Ensure high-fidelity software provenance and deployment speed through programmatic interactions with GitHub/Bitbucket APIs.
- System Reliability & Troubleshooting: Conduct comprehensive root-cause analyses to rectify systemic issues. Guide end-to-end incident management, from heuristic debugging of distributed architectures to resolution.
- Strategy & Continuity: Formulate and execute comprehensive cloud migration strategies and disaster recovery frameworks. Develop technical schematics and implementation roadmaps that align backend service dependencies with automation logic.
- Governance & Collaboration: Establish enterprise-grade Source Control Management (SCM) standards and version control practices. Promote effective collaboration across DevOps, QA, and Engineering teams to synchronize sprints with reliability goals.
