About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer at Fuse, your mission will be to push the boundaries of pulsed power technology and contribute to our groundbreaking projects. We're looking for individuals who are humble, innovative, and relentless in their pursuit of excellence, ready to face the formidable challenges associated with fusion energy.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test advanced control systems for pulsed power facilities.
Create and validate data acquisition systems to enhance our research capabilities.
Design and construct electronic circuits to effectively manage electrical systems.
Establish test setups to evaluate and analyze the performance of electrical components, assemblies, and systems.
Conduct applied research in the electrical engineering domain to drive innovation.
Draft specifications and technical reports to document findings and project progress.
Engage proactively in team meetings, sharing insights and collaborating to propel innovative solutions forward.
Observe and enforce safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a secure working environment.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in schematic and layout design for PCBs utilizing Altium Designer or similar software.
At least 1 year of experience in simulating electronic circuits using SPICE.
Proven experience of over 1 year in configuring and managing Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems.
Familiarity with sensors and calibration techniques.
A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team and deliver results consistently.
