Salary:
We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer II to join our dynamic team at Senergy Power Solutions, located in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida. This full-time, onsite role reports directly to the VP of Engineering and is essential in driving the design, development, testing, and launch of innovative hybrid power and energy systems.
About the Role: As an Electrical Engineer II, you will take ownership of specified electrical subsystems and engage actively throughout the entire product lifecycle—from conceptualization and prototyping to validation, documentation, and production support. This position requires a hands-on approach within a manufacturing setting, emphasizing meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality engineering practices.

- Proficient in CAD tools, simulation environments, and laboratory settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Design & Development: Design electrical power and control systems for renewable, hybrid, and rugged applications, create schematics and PCB layouts, and ensure compliance with performance, safety, and environmental standards.
- Prototyping, Testing & Validation: Build and assess prototypes, execute detailed test plans, troubleshoot issues, and integrate field feedback into design improvements.
- Documentation & Release: Create comprehensive technical documents including schematics, BOMs, and test reports, ensuring designs are manufacturable and properly transitioned to production.
- Collaboration & Improvement: Collaborate closely with mechanical, production, supply chain, and quality teams, participating in design reviews and sharing insights to enhance cost-effectiveness, reliability, and manufacturability.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support adherence to applicable standards and certifications.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and customers as necessary.
