Opportunity Overview
While each project presents unique challenges, contributors may be tasked with:
- Creating complex electrical engineering problems that reflect industry standards.
- Assessing AI solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and limitations.
- Validating calculations or simulations utilizing Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
- Enhancing AI reasoning to ensure alignment with established industry logic.
- Implementing structured scoring criteria for multi-step problem-solving.
Qualifications and Skills
This role is ideally suited for electrical engineers with Python expertise who are interested in flexible, part-time, project-based work. We are looking for candidates with:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines, such as Electronics, Microelectronics, Embedded Systems, or Power Systems.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering.
- Proficient written and verbal English communication skills (C1/C2 level).
- Strong Python skills for numerical validation tasks.
- A reliable internet connection.
Possession of professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, EUR ING, RPEQ) and experience in international or applied projects will be considered advantageous.

Time Commitment
For this particular project, estimated work hours range from 10 to 20 hours per week during active phases, contingent upon project requirements. This estimate is not a guaranteed workload but serves as a guideline for active project periods.
Compensation
- Competitive compensation with rates of up to $13/hour*.
- Payment may be based on fixed project rates or individual rates, depending on the project.
