As a key member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and continuous operation of the hotel's electrical installations. This role involves performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance with a focus on the electrical upkeep of machines, equipment, panels, controls, and installations.
- Perform daily electrical maintenance on company machines, equipment, panels, controls, and installations according to a schedule set by your supervisor, responding to service requests to ensure proper functioning and prolong the life of the equipment.
- Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms related to electrical structure issues.
- Daily check energy meters, pumps, and other essential electro-electronic equipment, documenting findings in a specific spreadsheet for control.
- Ensure orderliness and cleanliness of work materials and workspace while maintaining tools and materials in excellent condition.
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Monitor and control the usage of electrical materials, documenting work performed and materials consumed, as well as specifying and requesting necessary maintenance supplies.
- Utilize hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, electric drills, etc.) along with basic measuring instruments.
- Occasionally assist in the assembly or installation of new machines and equipment, collaborating with supplier/manufacturer teams or under supervisor guidance.
- Participate in the creation, reading, or interpretation of electrical drawings and sketches.
- Guide civil works as needed: assemble and disassemble structures, adapt components, establish electrical connections and wire extensions, position lighting fixtures, install switches, clean up, oversee tests, and take responsibility for future maintenance.
- Replace circuit breakers, managing power circuits during occasional outages.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
