Act as the essential technical link among design, manufacturing, and management teams, facilitating effective communication, assessing design feasibility, and efficiently resolving issues.
In a collaborative setup involving design teams located in Mexico, India, and Germany, alongside manufacturing operations in Celaya and management based in Mexico and the US, the Liaison Engineer is responsible for aligning technical requirements, aiding production implementation, coordinating engineering changes, and ensuring the timely resolution of technical challenges, thus promoting a seamless transition from design to manufacturing.
Develop comprehensive system-level requirements and architecture, detailing functional and security features. Engage in ongoing dialogue with internal development teams and clients to clarify the system's key attributes. Offer technical guidance to the team in overcoming challenges related to system functionalities and performance expectations. Operate independently while consistently delivering on responsibilities.
Transform design specifications into manufacturable solutions, ensuring technical feasibility and adherence to standards.
Facilitate coordination among design, production, and management teams to enhance technical communication and mutual understanding.
Oversee deviations, engineering modifications, and production challenges, driving root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure that technical decisions take into account the implications on cost, quality, timelines, and production capacity.
Provide comprehensive and timely updates regarding technical status and risks to management.
Analyze, review, and define system requirements and architecture to ensure a thorough understanding of project needs.
Continuously monitor and assess the quality of system requirements, ensuring compliance with established standards and verification criteria.
Regularly track project progress at the system level, identifying potential deviations and implementing corrective measures to maintain alignment.
Classify requirements by various system areas and components for better management and prioritization.
Create detailed and transparent technical documentation for clients, providing comprehensive insights into system architecture, requirements, and verification criteria.
