Our Team
The Hitachi Digital Tax Team is dedicated to providing tax compliance services that support our Digital Infrastructure (DI), Digital Services (DS), and GlobalLogic business units.
The EMEA Tax Team, which covers direct and indirect taxes, is composed of 11 skilled members located across various regions and is led by the EMEA Tax Director based in the Netherlands. We manage all facets of corporate tax issues, including direct and indirect tax reporting and compliance, transfer pricing, tax accounting, tax projects, and liaising with tax authorities.
Your Role
As an EMEA Tax Specialist, you will serve as the primary contact for direct tax matters across multiple EMEA countries. Your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of direct tax topics such as Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Transfer Pricing (TP), DAC6, and tax provisioning. Additionally, you will aid the EMEA Tax Director during tax audits and various ad-hoc projects.
You will work closely with internal teams including Sales, Legal, and Operations, while also fostering relationships with external stakeholders such as tax advisors and tax authorities.
You will be responsible for monitoring tax legislation changes in the countries assigned to you, assessing their implications for the business, and providing timely guidance to the relevant teams.
