THE ROLE
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will join a dynamic team on the front lines of emergency veterinary care, where every moment is critical. You will manage a variety of cases, from minor to complex emergencies, working in collaboration with our veterinarians to deliver exemplary, compassionate care. Your responsibilities will include triage, treatment, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while providing emotional support to pet owners during stressful times. This position is ideal for those eager to utilize their training, expand their expertise, and make a difference when it matters most.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide compassionate care to every patient and client, ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout their experience.
- Respond swiftly to critical situations, delivering nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage through to discharge.
- Administer medications and monitoring, from IVs and CRIs to blood transfusions and beyond.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to care strategies and maintaining care flow.
- Perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional; extensive training is provided, with a high number of RECOVER CPR professionals and instructors on staff.
