THE JOB
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be integral to our dynamic team delivering critical care in emergency veterinary settings where every moment is vital. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide spectrum of cases, from routine to complex emergencies, collaborating closely with our veterinary doctors to provide exceptional, compassionate care. You will be actively involved in triage, diagnostics, treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, serving as a reassuring presence for pet owners during their most challenging times. This position is ideal for individuals eager to apply their training, further develop their skills, and provide essential support to pets and their owners in urgent situations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Ensure that every patient and person feels valued and supported—because they truly matter! You will be a key part of keeping families together as you guide them through treatments and tests.
- Act swiftly to deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during critical moments, from triage through to discharge.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and utilize your expertise in procedures ranging from IVs and CRIs to blood transfusions and beyond.
- Engage in effective communication and collaborative decision-making as you contribute to treatment plans and ensure seamless patient care.
- Be prepared to perform CPR with confidence, and take advantage of our training opportunities, as we proudly employ the highest number of RECOVER CPR professionals and instructors.
