THE JOB
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team at the forefront of emergency veterinary medicine, where every second counts. You will manage a diverse range of cases, from minor issues to complex emergencies, while collaborating with our veterinarians and support staff to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. Your responsibilities will include triage, treatment, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while providing emotional support to pet owners during their most trying times. This role is perfect for someone eager to apply their training, further develop their expertise, and assist clients and their pets in urgent situations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Treat every patient and person with the utmost respect—because they deserve it! You will be their steadfast companion throughout tests, treatments, and more.
- Spring into action, providing nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during critical moments, from triage to discharge.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform advanced procedures—from IVs and CRIs to blood transfusions and beyond.
- Communicate effectively as a team player and think like a leader, contributing to care plans and ensuring a seamless flow of treatment.
- Be prepared to perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional (we offer training and have the highest number of RECOVER CPR instructors and professionals among our staff).
