Qualifications
THE JOB As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral part of our emergency response team, where time is of the essence. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, from minor to complex emergency care, working collaboratively with our veterinarians to provide compassionate, high-quality care. You will engage in triage, treatment, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, ensuring a comforting presence for pet parents during stressful times. This position is perfect for those eager to apply their training, expand their skills, and make a significant difference in the lives of pets and their owners. WHAT YOU’LL DO Treat every patient and their owner with the utmost respect and empathy, standing by their side throughout the treatment process. Respond promptly to emergencies, providing essential nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform advanced medical techniques, including IVs and blood transfusions. Communicate effectively with your team, contributing to care plans and ensuring seamless service delivery. Be prepared to perform CPR as a certified RECOVER professional, with access to ongoing training and mentorship.
