This role involves welcoming patients and guests with courtesy, either over the phone or in person, while facilitating the appointment scheduling and check-in process. You will ensure accurate collection and verification of patient identification and demographic data for their permanent medical records, which is crucial for proper reimbursement while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information. The position also entails managing point-of-service collections and engaging in direct patient interactions to complete their registration and admission process. You will be responsible for verifying insurance through electronic means, telephone, or web applications, and enhancing patient satisfaction by consistently embodying the company's professional standards. Additionally, you will be cross-trained to support various functions across all patient and payer types.
