Your Role as an Emergency Veterinarian
As an Emergency Veterinarian at VEG, your passion for helping animals will shine as you provide critical care in emergencies. You will be equipped to handle everything from routine emergencies to complex surgeries, treating a wide variety of pets, including exotics. Your Responsibilities Include:
- Answering medical inquiries over the phone
- Providing immediate care to patients through our unique VEG Triage and VEG Spikes approach, ensuring timely access to veterinary care
- Gathering essential patient information such as signalment, presenting complaints, vital signs, and performing thorough physical examinations
- Conducting diagnostic procedures including ultrasounds, X-rays, blood tests, and biopsies as necessary
- Establishing diagnoses and developing treatment plans tailored to each pet's needs
