THE JOB
As an Emergency Veterinary Nursing Trainer at VEG, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the growth of our team. Your responsibilities will involve leading with curiosity, coaching with empathy, and focusing on professional development. Your influence will extend throughout the hospital as you build skills and confidence among staff members. Whether through one-on-one training on the floor, facilitating peer-led sessions, or creating educational tools, your contributions will be invaluable. You will customize training to accommodate various learning styles, acknowledge every achievement, and support every VEGgie eager to advance in their career. Your efforts will help cultivate an environment where learning, leadership, and passion thrive.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate with leadership to assess training needs for individuals and teams.
- Evaluate assistants and credentialed technicians through direct observation and real-time engagement.
- Facilitate career advancement through VEG’s Cultivate program.
- Implement VEG training programs and serve as the primary training resource at your hospital.
- Balance your time between hands-on mentoring and strategic development initiatives.
- Provide tailored, hands-on training to suit all learning styles and proficiency levels with care and patience.
- Organize peer training opportunities and foster a robust mentoring culture.
- Collaborate with nursing managers and professional networks to enhance the overall impact.
- Develop and improve training resources and materials.
