About the job
At BlueLabs, we are revolutionizing the sports betting and casino industry with cutting-edge solutions that create captivating digital experiences for players worldwide. Our fully remote team thrives on passion, innovation, and a commitment to excellence, driven by principles of collaboration, curiosity, ownership, and the desire to create impactful products.
We are seeking a dedicated Engineering Manager to oversee our dynamic Partner-Facing Team, which consists of 6 talented engineers. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the CTO and serve as the primary engineering liaison for both internal and external stakeholders, focusing on building a high-performing team that consistently delivers quality features.
Our Technology Stack
Our technology ecosystem is robust, comprising over 50 microservices built with Go and Elixir, ensuring a highly efficient and scalable operation. We utilize Apache Pulsar for event-driven messaging, Kubernetes for container orchestration, and Google Cloud Platform for our cloud infrastructure. For data storage and analytics, we rely on PostgreSQL and SingleStore, with DBT for transformations and analytics engineering. Our data processing is powered by Flink and Spark, while we adhere to Data Vault 2.0 for our core data modeling.
Our release process is fully automated, allowing our compact engineering team to execute multiple daily deployments seamlessly. This encompasses everything from infrastructure provisioning to application deployment and monitoring configuration, utilizing tools such as Terraform, Helmfile, and GitHub Actions.
To monitor our platform's performance, we employ Grafana, Loki, and Mimir, which facilitate the automatic detection and escalation of any potential issues to the relevant teams.
As a technology-driven company, we are committed to fostering a modern and agile environment that empowers our engineers to excel and shape the future of sports betting technology.
About The Role
The Partner-Facing team is tasked with delivering product features directly to our partners and their players. In contrast to our Platform team, which is focused on developing the new Elixir-based core platform, the Partner-Facing team operates at the product layer, collaborating closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, high-quality software.
The team predominantly utilizes Go and TypeScript while progressively transitioning to the new Elixir-based platform. The ultimate goal is a complete migration to Elixir, but the team must currently operate effectively across both platforms.
