ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Enterprise Solutions Consultant (SC) at Benchling, you will serve as the principal solution architect for our most significant customers and prospects. Your solutions will be integrated into intricate enterprise IT systems, collaborating with other vendor solutions, laboratory instruments, and legacy software. This prominent role involves close collaboration with both external clients and internal teams to devise optimal solutions that maximize value for our customers. Operating in a pre-sales capacity, you will work alongside Benchling sales leadership, account executives, professional services, and product management to present the best solutions.
You will engage with senior scientific and IT leaders from our clients and prospects to build trust and ensure credibility from the outset, crafting solutions that leverage cutting-edge technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate effectively with account executives, fellow SCs, and leadership to strategize account plans and customer engagements that lead to impactful solutions.
Conduct organized discovery sessions to identify customer needs and decision-making criteria related to significant business challenges.
Develop solutions grounded in Benchling's capabilities, industry best practices, and standard R&D functions, ensuring alignment with the customer's scientific objectives and existing technology ecosystem.
Deliver persuasive presentations and demonstrations of solutions, focusing on key messages, decision criteria, and business challenges.
