JOB SUMMARY
The Entertainment Technician II - Entertainment & Events at Six Flags Qiddiya plays an essential role in ensuring the flawless execution of all technical aspects related to live entertainment and events within the park. This position is crucial for delivering strategic planning and operational excellence that supports departmental objectives, elevating the guest experience.
As part of the Six Flags Qiddiya City team, the Entertainment Technician will be tasked with managing all technical components of live entertainment productions and special events. This includes audio, lighting, video, rigging, and show control systems, along with show props. The technician is responsible for achieving seamless technical execution that upholds world-class standards while enhancing guest experiences and adhering to safety, quality, and creative expectations.

Pre-opening Responsibilities:
§ Proficient in one or more of the following: lighting, sound, video projection, control systems, or special effects.
§ Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a positive and adaptable mindset.
§ Excellent problem-solving skills complemented by strong communication and teamwork abilities.
§ Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or outdoors as required.
§ Knowledge of health and safety standards in live entertainment and park operations.
§ Availability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
§ Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining technical systems for live shows and events, encompassing audio, lighting, video, and special effects equipment.
§ Execute show calls and technical cues in collaboration with entertainment technical supervisors, stage management, and performance teams.
§ Support rehearsals and show runs by ensuring equipment is correctly configured and fully operational.
§ Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all entertainment technical assets, including show props, to maintain operational readiness.
§ Report technical faults and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
§ Follow all health, safety, and operational procedures as directed by supervisors and managers.
§ Assist with the setup of temporary systems for seasonal and special events, ensuring tidy and safe installations.
§ Ensure all installations and technical operations meet the brand’s creative and technical standards.
