Salary and Benefits
As a newly appointed BPA, your annual salary will range from $51,632 to $92,219 based on your grade level (GL-5/GL-7). We also provide a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and other insurance plans, generous leave policies, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan, similar to a traditional Roth 401(k).
Incentives
New hires are eligible for up to $20,000 in recruitment incentives upon completing the Border Patrol Academy, with an additional $40,000 available over the first four years for retention purposes.
Duty Locations
Important Notice: Duty assignments may include high-priority locations along the Southwest Border. Please note that relocation may be required, and assignments are subject to operational needs.
