Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, our Structural Engineering team is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Entry Level Structural Engineering Designer. This role offers you the chance to engage with real-world projects from day one. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a variety of building projects and materials, including:
- Hands-on experience while learning from licensed structural engineers.
- Conducting structural analysis and design of building components and systems using industry-standard software under supervision.
- Assisting in the development of 3-D BIM models and construction documents, including communication with project drafters, structural detailing, and multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
- Applying core engineering principles and advanced mathematical techniques to solve real-world challenges.
- Working alongside project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Building expertise in navigating building and material-specific codes while aligning with KPFF’s and our clients’ standards and practices.
- Participating in client meetings and site visits to gain exposure to project development and stakeholder engagement.
- Engaging in KPFF’s Forefront program, dedicated to mentorship, lifelong learning, and career development.
