About the job
As an integral part of the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) function, the EHS Coordinator works closely with various stakeholders across the organization under the direct supervision of the EHS Director. This role focuses on enhancing the effectiveness of the EHS team through data analytics and facilitating the communication of EHS documentation. Occasional travel to other AVK locations or project sites may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive team culture characterized by accountability, professionalism, and collaboration.
- Assist in organizing EHS meetings and prepare detailed minutes.
- Oversee the implementation and tracking of the EHS Audit & Inspection plan.
- Manage and distribute suppliers' prequalification documents to the relevant EHS Manager.
- Conduct thorough analysis of EHS data to support decision-making.
- Ensure accurate reporting of EHS data to stakeholders.
- Assist in the development, collation, and distribution of EHS campaign materials.
- Collaborate with the Compliance team to maintain document control and streamline information flow.
- Work with the People team to coordinate EHS training initiatives.
- Provide support to the EHS team with document management, filing, and record-keeping.
- Perform additional EHS administrative tasks as requested by the EHS function.
