Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a proactive and seasoned EHS Manager to oversee all facets of environmental, health, and safety compliance across our two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Your primary focus will be to cultivate a safe and compliant workspace at our Provo, UT site, while extending your expertise to our facility in Texas. This pivotal role requires the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust EHS programs that adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as aligning with company policies and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Development and Execution of EHS Programs:
Craft, implement, and sustain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures tailored to the unique requirements of manufacturing laboratory environments, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other pertinent regulatory standards.Regulatory Adherence:
Guarantee compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and industry-specific standards. Remain informed of regulatory changes and adapt programs as necessary.Risk Evaluation and Hazard Assessment:
Conduct safety risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and environmental impact evaluations to identify hazards and potential risks associated with laboratory operations.Management of Safety Systems:
Supervise and maintain safety management systems such as Hazard Communication (HAZCOM), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) programs, and Emergency Response Plans, ensuring proper documentation and accessibility of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).Incident Investigation and Documentation:
Lead and document incident investigations, including root cause analysis and the formulation of corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.
